Instructions:
Boil potatoes until tender, drain, and mash with cream, butter, garlic powder and salt. For the gravy, melt butter until golden brown, add flour, garlic powder and slowly whisk in broth. Simmer until thickened. Pour over mashed potatoes.

Traditional Green Bean Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb green beans, trimmed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup crispy fried onions
3 garlic cloves, chopped
Salt and pepper

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Blanch green beans, combine with soup, chopped garlic, salt, and pepper, and place in a baking dish. Top with fried onions and bake for 25 minutes.

Cloves for studding (optional)

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Score the surface of the ham in a crisscross pattern and, if desired, stud each cross with a clove. Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan. In a small bowl, combine maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, rosemary, and thyme. Brush half of the glaze over the ham. Roast for 2-2.5 hours, brushing with the remaining glaze every 30 minutes, until caramelized. Let rest before slicing.


Roast Turkey with Garlic Herb Butter

Ingredients:
1 whole turkey, thawed
½ cup butter, softened
4 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme)
2 tbsp dried sage
5 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Mix butter, herbs, garlic, salt, and pepper. Gently separate turkey skin from meat and spread butter under the skin. Roast according to package directions, basting occasionally.

1 pie crust
1 can pumpkin puree
